About Borders Chiropractic

Borders Chiropractic was started in Peebles, Scottish Borders in November 2006 by Pamella Chu (Doctor of Chiropractic). Alison Button(Doctor of Chiropractic) then joined the practice in June 2008. Claude Fournier (Doctor of Chiropractic) joined the practice in March 2010.

About Pamella Chu (Doctor of Chiropractic)

Pamella graduated in 2004 from University of Glamorgan with a first class (hons) degree in BSc Chiropractic.

Pamella has since gained experience working in a number of clinics in Scotland including Inverness, Stornoway, Edinburgh and the Borders. Pamella is particularly interested in Sports Chiropractic and completed a Post Graduate qualification in Sports Science Chiropractic in 2006. Pamella has also attended several dry needling and acupuncture courses and frequently uses acupuncture in conjunction with Chiropractic treatment.

Pamella is General Chiropractic Council (GCC) Registered, and is a member of the British Chiropractic Association (BCA) and British Chiropractic Sports Council (BCSC). Pamella is AXA PPP and BUPA recognised.

About Alison Button (Doctor of Chiropractic)

Alison graduated form the Anglo-European College of Chiropractors (AECC) in 1990.

Alison started her career working in Edinburgh and then went on to work in numerous other clinics both in the UK and around the world including: Inverness, Stornoway, Maidstone, Penzance,Cape Town,and St Maarten (which is part of the Netherland Antilles).

Alison is General Chiropractic Council (GCC) registered and is a member of the Scottish Chiropractic Association (SCA). Alison is AXA PPP recognised.

About Claude Fournier (Doctor of Chiropractic)

From the 8th March 2010 we also have Claude Fournier (Doctor of Chiropractic) joining us. Claude is an extremely experienced Chiropractor and has previously worked for over 10 years in the Scottish Borders. His love of the Scottish Borders prompted Claude to return to the area after spending a couple of years in Leicester. Claude is registered with the General Chiropractic Council, a fellow of the College of Chiropractic and is a member of the Scottish Chiropractic Association. Claude is also BUPA and PPP registered.

Other therapists who work out of the clinic include: Linda Murray ( Massage therapist and Deep Lymphatic facial), Charles Whitaker ( Clinical Hypnotherapy), Janet MacDouggal ( Reflexology and Indian head massage), Pam Stephenson ( Counselling), and Reiki ( Janice Pace).
