"I came for treatment at Border Chiropractic to help treat a chronic (~7 years) and re-occuring back injury I picked up from playing hockey.

I was initially unsure what a chiropractor could do for my injury and associated pain but have been massively impressed.

As part of my treatment I have recieved muscle manipulation- localised muscle massage, ultrasound, acupuncture muscle needling (all that you'd expect a competant sports physio to do)- and spine/vertebrae manipulation. This treatment has been augmented by a programme of focussed stretches to relax muscles and improve mobility, advice and explanation of what is being done to my back and how the injury is improving.

As a result of my treatment I now have no pain (which after 7 years is a life changing positive), my back realigned into its proper position and an insight into how my body has been carrying the intital injury (which has caused secondary and tertiary problems (which have now been addressed))

Both of us being long time visitors to a chiropractor we know, that like a dentist or doctor, when you find a good one and one that suits you you stay with them. This is certainly the case at City Chiropractic, particularly with Alison, who as well as fixing any problems either of us may have, keeps us on our toes when we are not quite so kind to our bodies as we should be!
