Caspar grew up in Norfolk playing a variety of sports including football, cricket and squash, consequently having a keen interest in sports injuries leading him to study osteopathy. Caspar graduated from Leeds Metropolitan University in 2017 gaining a merit grade in the Master of Osteopathy degree. Caspar’s dissertation discussed different osteopathic treatments and the consequent effects on chronic pain and mood.
Since graduating Caspar has worked across clinics in London and Greater Manchester before moving to Edinburgh in 2022. Working within multiple clinics helped Caspar develop further knowledge in low back pain rehabilitation and a greater understanding of chronic pain management to help his patients with long standing pain.
Caspar’s treatment style involves joint mobilisation and manipulation, soft tissue massage, myofascial release techniques. Caspar also has further skills in kinesiology sports taping, dry needling with acupuncture points and exercise-based rehabilitation techniques for pain management.
Caspar enjoys hiking and running in his spare time, completing the Edinburgh half marathon two times and hopes to push for a new personal best next year.
