Jo graduated from Aberdeen University in Medical Science and later as
an Osteopath from The British School of Osteopathy in London in 2008
and then completed post graduate studies with the Gray Institute in
the USA in Physical Therapy Biomechanics (Applied Functional Science)
where she was involved in sports team “prehab” programs.
She has a passion for learning and helping others to live healthy and
fulfilling lives through Osteopathy and Clinical Nutrition – using
food as medicine.
Jo gained a lot of experience in multidisciplinary practices together
with chiropractors, physiotherapists, personal trainers and strength
and conditioning coaches in London and thereafter has worked in Norway
As an Osteopath with a special interest in biomechanics she likes to
look at the patient as a whole, considering how everything is
connected in the body and how often many components come together to
result in an injury. Her specialities include treating
neurological/nerve injuries including through sports trauma or disc
Jo´s personal interests include Functional Training and Crossfit as
well as a love of the outdoors!
