Borders Chiropractic now offers telehealth appointments for new and existing patients. Telehealth appointments can now be booked using our online booking facility.
We know that nothing is quite the same as coming in for your hands on chiropractic appointment but in light of COVID-19 this is the next best thing!
Our telehealth appointments are 1-1 sessions with one of our chiropractors where we will go through details of your problem, examine you virtually by guiding you through certain test and movements to determine what the problem is. Based on this we will then give you self care advice and a tailor made exercise programme using Rehab-my-patient software we have invested in. If we feel your condition requires urgent medical attention we will also advise accordingly.
Examples of what we can help with using telehealth include working from home desk/computer set up, pregnancy self care advice for aches and pains as well as the best exercises and self care tips to manage your condition.
Currently we are using whereby for our video consultations, to make sure you are set up appropriately prior to your consultation it would be helpful to have a look at whereby’s getting started page:

On your appointment date/time please go to the following webpage to connect with the practitioner you have booked with. This should work on any browser and can be used on a phone/tablet too.
Pamella Chu – https://whereby.com/borderschiropractic
Adam Scobbie – https://whereby.com/borderschiroadam
If you are a new patient please complete the new patient form prior to your appointment. The link for the new patient form is https://www.borderschiropractic.co.uk/borders-chiropractic-new-patient-form/
It is advisable to wear loose fitting clothing for your consultation and ideally have some space to move around as your chiropractor may ask you to run through a series of different movements to assess your condition. We may also ask you to go over the exercises we have given to check you are doing them correctly.
Telehealth appointments are £40 for new patients (45 minute session) and £30 (20-30 minutes) for existing patients. Many insurance providers are also covering the costs of these including AXA and BUPA.
If you have any questions, please contact the practitioner you have booked with directly by email
